5 Tips on Becoming a Master Communicator

5 Tips on Becoming a Master Communicator

In life you have to learn how to become a Master Communicator… but even more so when it comes to building your network marketing business.

We are all born to communicate, and we do so in many different ways. But you MUST become a Master Communicator if you want to see your business blossom.

Here are 5 tips that will help you when dealing with prospects both online and offline.

1. Understand that there are many forms of communication (tone of your voice, eye contact, facial expressions, etc.). We are never NOT communicating. Every day we communicate with SOMEONE about SOMETHING. Every day amongst our travels in life, we come across different people with different personalities. You have to learn how to read people and understand their body language and have the ability to adjust your communication with them accordingly. 93% of communication is paralanguage (non-verbal) (meaning gestures and body language) which is the most powerful form of communication as a whole. The paralinguistic properties of speech play an important role in human speech communication.

2. Understand that true communication is born when the receiver decodes your message. When you are writing an article, or writing an email or even when you are shooting a video, you have to put yourself in the mindset of the person that is going to read or watch your content. Learn how to deliver that message.

3. Understand that to be a Master Communicator, you must also be a great listener. Listen to your prospects. Understand their wants and needs. Never interrupt them in a conversation….let them speak. But, also know when to interrupt and how to interrupt.

4. Understand that building a relationship with your prospects is the most important thing that you can do for your business. Building trust, being there when they call, communicating with them on a regular basis is priceless.

5. Understand that becoming one with your prospect is an important factor that you must master. The words that flow out of your mouth when speaking to your prospect should never indicate that it’s all about you. Become one with them. Make them feel that they are a part of your world. Never use the words I, me or mine. Instead use the words such as us, we and our.

To Your Success…
